A Note on the Use of Plithogenic and Hyperplithogenic Sets for Weather Prediction
Main Article Content
Abstract
Many well-known formalisms for handling uncertainty such as Fuzzy Sets, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Neutrosophic Sets, and Plithogenic Sets have been widely investigated and employed in diverse application areas. Building on Plithogenic Sets, two higher-order extensions have been proposed: the HyperPlithogenic Set, which generalises the original Plithogenic structure, and the SuperHyperPlithogenic Set, which in turn subsumes both Plithogenic and HyperPlithogenic Sets. This paper demonstrates how these three families—Plithogenic, HyperPlithogenic, and SuperHyper Plithogenic Sets can be employed for weather forecasting. Because meteorological prediction has already been modelled within Fuzzy and Neutrosophic frameworks, extending the analysis to the richer Plithogenic hierarchy constitutes a natural and promising next step.
