Abstracting, Indexing, and Digital Preservation
Scholarly Discoverability and Preservation
Neutrosophic Optimization and Intelligent Systems (NOIS) is committed to supporting the accurate identification, accessibility, discoverability, citation, and long-term preservation of its published scholarly content.
The journal maintains bibliographic records and participates in scholarly information services that help researchers, libraries, and information systems identify and locate its publications.
To ensure transparency, NOIS distinguishes between bibliographic registration, research discovery services, Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration, selective citation indexing, and long-term digital preservation. These services serve different purposes and should not be regarded as equivalent forms of journal evaluation or accreditation.
The journal's verified bibliographic records, scholarly discovery services, DOI registration, and preservation arrangements are described below.
- International Standard Serial Number (ISSN)
NOIS is officially registered with the ISSN International Centre, the international organization responsible for identifying serial publications.
The journal has the following identifiers:
Online ISSN: 2997-0105
Print ISSN: 2997-0091
ISSN-L: 2997-0091
These identifiers establish the journal's bibliographic identity and support its consistent identification across library catalogs, scholarly information systems, and publishing platforms.
The official ISSN records can be consulted directly:
Online ISSN Record: https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2997-0105
Print ISSN Record: https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2997-0091
ISSN registration identifies the journal as a serial publication and does not, by itself, constitute selection for a citation indexing database.
- OpenAlex – Scholarly Discovery and Research Metadata
NOIS has a journal source record in OpenAlex, an open scholarly research catalog that connects publications, authors, institutions, and research-related metadata.
OpenAlex supports the discovery and analysis of scholarly literature by organizing bibliographic information and relationships among research outputs.
Journal Source: Neutrosophic Optimization and Intelligent Systems
OpenAlex Source ID: S5407042621
Official OpenAlex Record: https://openalex.org/S5407042621
The availability of a journal source record in OpenAlex improves bibliographic discoverability. It does not establish that the journal has been selected for inclusion in another indexing or citation database.
Coverage of individual publications may vary according to metadata availability and the updating procedures of the discovery service.
- Crossref – DOI Registration and Metadata Linking
Published articles in NOIS are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) registered through Crossref.
Crossref provides persistent identification and bibliographic metadata services that support scholarly citation, reference linking, and the identification of research outputs.
Article metadata registered through Crossref may include titles, author information, publication dates, journal identifiers, and links to the published content.
A registered DOI provides a persistent means of identifying and locating a publication, even when its website address changes, provided that the associated metadata and destination links are maintained.
Crossref Metadata Search for NOIS: https://search.crossref.org/search/works?from_ui=yes&q=2997-0105
DOI registration through Crossref is a scholarly identification and metadata service. It should not be interpreted as a journal quality ranking, editorial accreditation, or acceptance into a selective citation index.
- Portico – Long-Term Digital Preservation
NOIS participates in the Portico digital preservation service through its publisher, Sciences Force LLC.
Portico provides digital preservation infrastructure designed to support the long-term protection and continued availability of scholarly electronic publications.
The journal is listed within the publisher's preserved journal collection under its registered ISSN identifiers.
Preservation Service: Portico
Journal: Neutrosophic Optimization and Intelligent Systems
Online ISSN: 2997-0105
Print ISSN: 2997-0091
Official Portico Publisher and Journal Holdings: https://www.portico.org/publishers/sciencesforce/
Digital preservation is distinct from journal indexing. It supports the continuity and integrity of the scholarly record but does not imply selection by a citation database.
The preservation status and coverage of individual publication volumes are determined by the records maintained by the preservation service.
- Scholarly Indexing and Coverage Transparency
NOIS recognizes the importance of accurate and verifiable information about journal visibility and database coverage.
The journal distinguishes services that register or discover scholarly metadata from selective indexing databases that evaluate publications according to their own inclusion criteria.
The presence of journal metadata in Crossref, OpenAlex, the ISSN Portal, or digital preservation services does not constitute indexing in Scopus, Web of Science Core Collection, or other selective citation databases.
Any additional indexing, abstracting, or discovery service will be identified on this page only after its coverage has been independently verified through an official database record or another authoritative source.
The journal does not use DOI registration, bibliographic identification, or preservation arrangements as substitutes for evidence of formal indexing status.
- Accuracy and Maintenance of Bibliographic Records
NOIS aims to maintain accurate and consistent bibliographic information across its official website and the external services through which its publications can be identified.
The journal's publisher is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of deposited publication metadata, including journal titles, ISSN identifiers, article titles, author information, publication dates, volume and issue details, and DOI destination links.
Where errors in publication metadata are identified, appropriate corrections should be made through the relevant publishing and metadata registration systems.
The journal recognizes that external discovery services update their records independently and that the availability of individual articles may differ among platforms.
Information about indexing, registration, and preservation is reviewed when authoritative changes in service coverage or journal status are identified.
